The home was built in 1799, added to in 1848 and
beautifully restored in 2015.

Breakfast is a special time at the Pitney House and we take pride in our breakfasts, which has become a trade mark of our Inn. You will be pampered with breakfast served to you in our 18 century dining room.
History
Dr Pitney was a prominent man who came to Absecon in 1819 convinced that the climate was ideal for a health resort and a bathing village. Jonathan was known for being benevolent and kind, hospitable and social which makes it all the more fitting that today we are welcoming you into his home and offering the same old fashion hospitality.
